My eyes were truly opened when I assisted Jonathan Trayte with the install at The 

Converse X Dazed Emerging Artists at The Royal Academy of Art.  I clambered up scaffold, I carried, I humped, I retrieved coffees and I smiled. I carried and humped somemore. I stuffed string into strange looking oversized sausage skins and cut out huge 

paper sardines from a school of them.

 

I learnt to be upfront and ask. It's useful to be adaptable, willing and able. It was enlightening to see behind the scenes and It took blood, sweat and tears! Summon all the skilled trades-mates you know to help. Raise spirits when others are frayed.
