As a member of the Fundraising team for Index, fellow cheeky doer Lorraine and I organised the Arty Farty Fundraising Party. Alongside this I baked batches of my world famous brownies, week in week out. To help 

lure the punters in I also embroidered a banner. 

 

We held the party at Off the Cuff Bar and with a bit of the old Avsec/Devine 

charm, we managed to get it for free by donating £2 per ticket to the Syrian Crisis Fund - win win!

 

Favours were called in from talented friends of mine, including Barbara 

Brownskirt, Nine Waves and DJ Uncle Jane. Selling tickets required perseverance and the tenacity of a squid. It was a great night and oh how we danced!

 

We worked our booties off and even had money leftover for our final show - woohoo!!
